Whether your looking for some exercise or just want to enjoy the great outdoors, you will marvel at the opportunities provided by more than 30 kilometers of trails that wind through Whitecourt. Paved pathways, meandering trails and residential sidewalks will take you from the hilltop area to the valley. The trails are designed and maintained for year-round use for walking, jogging, inline skating and biking.
Whitecourt and the surrounding area have hundreds of kilometers of designated trails for off-highway vehicle (OHV) use. The Town of Whitecourt has an OHV Bylaw that regulates the use of off-highway vehicles (including snowmobiles and quads) within Town boundaries and only allows for seasonal use – from December 1 to March 31.
