The 2010 construction season will soon be upon us, and there are a number of road and special projects underway throughout Whitecourt.  Residents are asked to obey posted signs and construction speed limits in the following areas:

• Dahl Drive and 49th Avenue (intersection development)
• Dahl Drive (completion of widening project)
• 49th Avenue (completion of extension project)
• 47th Street (extension and construction of new railway crossing)
• Highway 43 and 42nd Avenue (development of the new intersection)
• 50th Avenue and 50th Street (Anniversary Square construction project)
• Whitecourt Twin Arenas & Curling Rink (modernization project scheduled to start this spring)
• Community Resource Centre (remodel old pool building, project scheduled to start this spring)
• 2010 Street improvement Program - locations to be announced soon
