Civic Addressing Bylaw 1423

The Town of Whitecourt will require all residences and businesses to display civic addresses. 

Bylaw 1423 requires all residences and businesses within the corporate limits of the Town of Whitecourt to display their civic address on the front of their building, in letters that are clearly visible, and no less than four inches tall. Requiring property owners to do this will assist the emergency responders in fire, police and ambulance situations.

Fines will be levied on building owners who do not have their address posted accordingly. The Town will allow a reasonable time period for property owners to meet this new requirement.
