Culture of Culture & Events Centre On Time and On Budget

Construction on the Culture & Events Centre continues. The project is on time and within budget, and is expected to be complete by the fall of 2026.
The building’s steel construction is 85% complete, and the exterior wall framing is scheduled to start in April 2025.
Construction on the Culture & Events Centre started in the summer of 2024. The facility will be a landmark for the community, and will include three components:
- Arts, Culture and Convention Centre – A venue designed to host a variety of concerts, trade shows, festivals, events, conventions, and celebrations.
- Library – The new library will provide increased floor area and space to better serve the region. It will provide a safe and accessible place for the community to learn and gather, and increase operating efficiency.
- Town Administration Office – The new office space will enhance customer service and accessibility, and provide an administrative facility that can grow with the community.
Sponsorship opportunities for the Culture & Events Centre are in the process of being finalized, along with sales packages for the listings of the current Town Office and Library buildings.
