Portions of Festival Park reopen 9am June 24
Posted on:Festival Park will reopen to the public at 9am on June 24. The Splash Park, fields and playground will be available to enjoy. The following areas remain closed:
- Whitecourt River Slides (due to the high water level on the pond);
- Pond Trail on the north end of the Park, including the Off Leash Dog Park and Riverside Trail through to 47 Street.
- All trail accesses into Festival Park, including 57 Avenue, Wedow Drive, Pritchard Drive and Flats Road entrances.
Other areas closed in Whitecourt include:
- Riverboat Park
- 47 Street north of Flats Road
The Whitecourt Golf & Country Club remains closed. Follow the Club's Facebook page to see when the Club will reopen.
