Salt/sand mix available for residents to pickup
Posted on:Crews are out sanding roads and sidewalks to make them safe for travel. To help you keep sidewalks and walkways safe, the Town of Whitecourt provides a mix of salt/sand for local residents to use (this product is not available to contractors). A green bin is located at the Whitecourt Legion parking lot (in downtown Whitecourt along 52 Avenue) with the salt/sand for free pickup - please bring your own bucket. (Maximum 20 kilograms or 45 pounds per week per household or business.)
