Whitecourt Town Council Update
Posted on:Whitecourt will be forwarding a letter to the Province in support of the Government of Alberta’s continued advocacy on behalf of the forestry industry. The forest sector is one of the biggest employers in Whitecourt, and ongoing international tariff threats could have severe impacts on local businesses and families.
Whitecourt Town Council has recognized June 6, 2025 as BGC Whitecourt Day. BGC Whitecourt & District (formerly Boys and Girls Club of Whitecourt & District) will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in Whitecourt, and will also be celebrating the 125th anniversary of the first BGC Club in Canada.
