Oversized loads may impact traffic along Highway 43
Posted on:Oversized loads are scheduled to travel through Whitecourt on Highway 43 on the following dates:
- August 15: estimated to be in town mid to late afternoon (Duane’s Transport)
- August 16: estimated to be in town between 10:00 and 10:30 AM (Hayduk Picker Service LTD)
- August 21: estimated to be in town at 1:00PM (K & R Building Movers)
Traffic along Highway 43 in both directions will be impacted when the oversized loads cross the Athabasca River Bridge, and may delay Whitecourt Transit Service. Motorists who encounter the convoys are asked to watch for the guide vehicles and flag people.
