Whitecourt Monitoring Fire Situation
Posted on:The Town of Whitecourt continues to monitor the fire situation in the Whitecourt Forest Area and in surrounding communities. At this point, Whitecourt is not under any warnings. Any evacuees who may be in the community should call their community’s 1-800 number to register and for further assistance.
Make sure you monitor social media sites (www.whitecourt.ca) or the Whitecourt Facebook page for updates. You can also download the Alberta Wildfire app, or visit alberta.wildfire.ca for more information. If you see smoke or flame in the forest call 310-FIRE(3473).
